Yes. A survey opens for a set window instead of being run live, so people answer from one link whenever they can, each in their own language, and the results come back in a single view. How long that window can stay open depends on your plan.
Responses are stored so the host can see results live and again after the session ends. Hosts can turn name collection on or off per session; with it off, responses carry no name. Text answers go to Google Gemini in two cases: automatically in Pro sessions, for the AI themes and recap, and on any plan when a host asks to translate them. Read Data & Security
