Help & FAQ
Short answers to the questions hosts ask most often. Can't find what you need? Email us.
How do I create my first session?
Sign in, click + New session on the dashboard, give it a name, pick which languages you want to author in, and hit Create. You'll land in the editor where you add questions. When you're ready, click Start session — your 6-digit join code goes live.
How does the trilingual feature actually work?
You author each question in any of three languages — English, Arabic, French — and the question types tabs let you fill in only the ones that apply. Each audience member then picks their own language when they join, and they see your questions in that language. Three different audience members in the same session can be reading the same poll in three different languages.
How do I share the join code with my audience?
On the presenter screen there's a giant 6-digit code, a URL (
nabad.live/join), and a QR code. Audience members can type the code, scan the QR, or visit the URL — whichever is easier in the room.Do my audience members need an app?
No. Nabad works in any modern phone browser. They scan the QR or type the code and they're voting in two seconds.
What's the difference between the plans?
Free supports up to 25 participants per session, with in-room AI and all 9 question types. Paid (24 USD/month or 173 USD/year) raises the cap to 100 and adds the AI recap email and Excel export. Pro (60 USD/month) adds multiple team members, all export formats, and custom branding. Every plan is trilingual with unlimited sessions.
Can I see results after a session ends?
Yes. From the dashboard, open any ended session — there's a View results button that takes you back to the presenter screen with the final numbers for every question. The session is read-only at that point (no new votes), but you can review or screenshot.
My audience can't join — what's wrong?
Three usual suspects: (1) the session is still in Draft — make sure you clicked Start session; (2) they typed the wrong code — codes are 6 digits with no letters; (3) the session has already ended — check the status badge on the editor.
How does the Spinning Wheel question work?
You add the options as a list (names, prizes, anything). When you go live, the presenter screen shows a colorful wheel with those options. You click Spin, it rotates fast; click Stop, it slowly decelerates and lands on a winner. Confetti included.
How do I cancel my subscription?
From the dashboard, click Manage billing. That opens your Stripe customer portal where you can cancel anytime. No cancellation fees, no lock-in.
Is my data private?
Audience members don't sign in — they're anonymous to you and to us, identified only by a temporary device fingerprint. Hosts: see our Privacy policy for the full details.
