These are the lines people read on their phone when they join a Nabad session. Tick the ones that read well, fix the ones that don't, and submit. Even five lines help.

What Nabad is

A host puts a question on the screen in front of a room. Everyone answers from their own phone, each in their own language, and the answers come back translated so the whole room can read them. It exists because we are not all fluent in the same ways.

Four words you will see a lot

  • SessionOne live gathering. A class, a meeting, a workshop or a conference. Not a court sitting.
  • HostThe person running it, also called the presenter. Not always a teacher, not the organiser.
  • ParticipantAnyone answering from their phone. Not a student.
  • RoomEveryone taking part. The people, not the place.

Please use the same word for each of these on every line. Some lines carry a code in braces such as {n}: keep it exactly as it is and move it where your language needs it. Nabad speaks the way a friendly colleague would, polite but not stiff. If a line is unclear without seeing the screen, say so at the end and we will send you a picture.
